AWDS is committed to help develop and produce innovative and creative students who have the skills, imagination, and resourcefulness to inspire. We encourage students to be challenged and versatile in the dance world, while offering a safe space for learning for all.
Get to Know Us
The Alison White Dance Studio was founded in 1979 by Alison White and specializes in Stage Dance. Students may enrol from the tender age of 3 years. The studio provides quality training in Classical Ballet, Acrobatic Dance, Modern Jazz, Tap, Flamenco, Commercial Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary. AWDS gives students an extremely solid foundation for vocational training in Musical Theatre, Theatre Dance and Physical Theatre.
The studio has had an excellent success rate in students auditioning for acclaimed universities. AWDS is affiliated with British Theatre Dance Association (B.T.D.A.), Margaret Morris Movement (M.M.M.) and Acrobatic Arts.

What a wonderful journey it has been bringing UNTAMED to life!
Through dance, music and imagination, our dancers took us on an adventure through the animal kingdom, bringing everything from the tiniest creatures to the wildest animals to life on stage.
Each scene was a new discovery, a new world and an opportunity for our dancers to showcase their love of performing.
UNTAMED was a celebration of imagination and teamwork and, above all, the joy of dancing together.
A huge well done to every single dancer who made this adventure possible, and a heartfelt thank you to our teachers, families and everyone behind the scenes who helped bring our wildest ideas to life.
